Merry Christmas 2009

Telling Santa what they want for Christmas!

Konner was also tossed one of the bouquets from one of the Canadian women, but we were unable to find her. Whitefield was happy to pose for another photo. He said the Athletes love coming to the Hy-Vee Trithlon because they are treated so wel1!

After winning yesterdays Mens Elite Race, Simon Whifield from Canada raced again today on the relay team from Canada to finish 3rd. They received Bronze medals. Each athlete also received a bouquet of roses in which Whitfield threw up to Katelyn. We asked him to pose for a picture and he was delighted. He has two year old girl.

They also had Shawn Johnson signing Autographs. What a perfect time to have those pictures autographed that were taken yesterday!

Hy-Vee TRI 2009

It been a big day for both kids. They both participated in the HY-VEE TRIATHLON. Katelyn faired well and Konner not so well. He ended up over heated and in the medical tent. It was getting warm when they left the water. Next they had to bike and last but not least ran a mile. I think it was around 85 degrees. Everyone is doing fine as you can tell from the afternoon pictures. I have a few at my finger tips so I thought I would share. Plan to put more on the blog soon!
